Are my files uploaded anywhere?
Browser tools, including crop, OCR and PDF-to-Word, process files in this tab. Tools marked Full server package send your file to your own VT PDF server only when you click the processing button; temporary files are deleted after the response. The app does not store documents in browser storage.
Can I crop every page at once?
Yes. All pages is selected by default. Draw one crop and every page updates automatically, including when you adjust margins. You can also choose one page, odd/even pages or a range. Different page sizes use the same relative crop area. Auto-trim uses one common crop by default.
Does cropping permanently erase hidden content?
No. Cropping changes the visible page boundaries. Content outside the crop may remain in the PDF. Do not use crop to redact private information.
Which files and browsers are supported?
Use a recent version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. The workspace accepts ordinary, unencrypted PDFs up to 100 MB and 500 pages. Image-to-PDF accepts JPG and PNG. Large files depend on your device's available memory. Password-protected files can be opened with the Unlock tool in the full server package using the correct existing password. Browser tools need an unlocked copy.
Can I edit text or convert PDF to Word?
PDF-to-Word creates editable paragraphs, and English OCR supports scanned pages. PDF-to-Excel exports text rows into cells. PowerPoint output uses page images. Complex layouts need review. Office-to-PDF and password tools require the included full server installation. Editing existing PDF text, form creation, cloud imports and account/subscription features are not included.
